Imperial Ranks
Each game, or Battalion, has their own ranks and roles to help keep things structured and organized. Battalion ranks only apply to that particular battalion/game and a high rank in one does not give authority over those of lower rank in a different battalion. Each battalion rank set has the battalion/game logo in them for easy distinction. As you'll notice here, each one of the ranks below are from different Battalions.
Emperor
The Galaxy is a vast region and the Emperor of the DSA can't be everywhere at once. When the Emperor is in a specific battalion, this rank is shown. At which point the chain of command is shifted up unless deferred to a lower rank.
Darth
As with the Emperor, his Darth apprentice cannot be everywhere. When he is active in a battalion, this rank is shown. Again command is shifted up unless deferred to a lower rank. The Darth will work with the Grand Moffs and mentor them and help them out with problems they might have.
Grand Moff
One for each platform (PS3/360). Must play in all games of the division. How can they oversee the progress of Socom or Warhawk if they are not playing it? If NO able body person has all division games, say 3 for PS3. Then the next able body person with 2 battalion games will be chosen. They decide, with Darth and Emperor approval, who is to be Moff of a battalion. They help Moffs with choosing the right people for commissioned ranks to bring to the council for approval. They may also replace Moffs if needed, again with D&E approval.
Battalion Ranks
There will only be one Commissioned rank per division. (Moff, General, Colonel, Captain, Officer)
The command structure is fluid and if at any time you are not able to perform your duties you will be removed. The command ranks are demanding and require a commitment. Hence if you are not doing your job you will be removed.
Commissioned Ranks
Moff
Setting monthly goals and making sure the other commissioned ranks are fulfilling their roles to achieve said goals. Moffs must be competing regularly. Making sure recruiting is going well, events are planned, practices are setup and run correctly, and approving any new recruits. In charge of assigning members to commissioned ranks, training all commissioned officers, and working with the Grand Moff to organize the battalion.
General
Organizes, maintains, and leads GB (or other ladder) teams. Works with the Captains to make sure the practice structures are focused on what the competing teams need to focus on. Example, Our GB team sucks at holding bases. Maybe we should hold a practice of attack and defend this week. Also works with Colonels to make sure new recruits are coming in to help field more teams in a ladder.
Colonel
Recruitment. Utilize the Officer and Stormtrooper Sergeants to setup recruiting sessions. Make sure the Stormtrooper Sergeant is promoting the clan when in public play on off-practice nights. You will help mentor the Stormtrooper Sergeant. It is your job to fill the division. If the division is not growing you are at fault.
Captain
Organizes practices and bootcamps based on the overall battalion goals of the month.
Officer
Helps setup Events and Tournaments. Events should be based on overall needs of the battalion. While events should be "fun", there should be an overall training reason for it. Example: if people need help flying in Warhawk, maybe a plane race or dog fighting tourney would make sense. This is also to get Officers used to structuring things of this nature where they may someday help lead practices or competition teams. If no other commissioned officer is there to lead practices or matches you are in charge.
Non-Commissioned Ranks
Stormtrooper Captain
Leadership position that actively helps with squad duties. Heavily competes within the battalion. Is the point person for general questions within the Stormtrooper ranks. Stormtrooper Captains will step up and help with anything they need to.
Stormtrooper Sergeant
You will have the same responsibility of the Stormtrooper. You will also help the Colonel with Recruiting and Training of the Cadets and Stormtroopers. You will also compete if you so choose. Your primary duty at this rank is to help recruit. If you are not recruiting you must compete heavily to stay at this rank.
Stormtrooper
Basic soldier/Grunt. Must pass a tryout to earn this rank. This is the next step up from a recruit and it typically has a 1-2 month waiting period. You have already proved that you read the forums on a regular basis and provide good feedback.
ALL CASUAL PLAYERS ARE THIS RANK.
Cadet/Recruit

Brand new to DSA and interested in trying out. You are not official DSA members, but are working towards your tryout. You are required to attend practices and post useful information in your battalion’s forum. If you miss practice on a regular basis or aren’t posting/reading the forums, will be dropped from the battalion. You must make a several practices before you are considered a full-fledged cadet. Do not ask when you will get your tryout.
Special Ranks
These are the special ranks of the DSA. They are awarded to those that serve special needs within the clan or have earned a place of honor for their service. These are not battalion ranks, but they can serve in any battalion or hold any rank.
Imperial Adviser
The Imperial Adviser serves as the mentors to the clan. They also advise the Emperor and Darth in matters. They serve the clan through their selfless work and are awarded with this rank and more work. If you have any questions about DSA as a whole these are the people to seek advice from.
Honorary DSA
These are members of the clan that served us and have retired from active duty. They have proven their selves and are honored with the golden Darth bust.
