    Bad News

    Hey guys,

    I ask that you pray for me or at least keep me in your thoughts. I just found out today that my position is being eliminated effective immediately. I know that I will find something else and hopefully soon. When one door closes, another one opens!

              I know you are relatively new, but are you getting any severence/additional paid time? You should get everything in order quickly and make sure it is all good. You should be able to find something, but now that you have experience you can be more selective about how you want your career to proceed. Prayers for you to move through this smoothly and for this to be a good step for your professional development.

                  All I know at this point is I will be getting my next paycheck but outside that I am unsure. This just came out of nowhere so the details are still being hashed out.

                                      I got a chance to DJ at ASU once at the campus radio station It could of gone better but it was OK.

                                              Would you be willing to move? Are you versed in television production? We have producers for live sports (high school, college and minor league ball ). We also have producers who make advertising commercials. No Idea if we have openings but I could pass your resume on.

                                                  Yeah I would be willing to move. I moved for this last job. The only problem is I am not as well versed/qualified in television as I am in radio. Also if you did have openings, I would be more interested in the live sports. Advertising is not a strong suit of mine. lol

                                                          Both. I took one class in college on video editing but that's about the extent of my TV background. I guess you could include that when I did play-by-play for the women's basketball team, it was on a video stream. However, we just treated it like radio because people could choose to just listen to the audio
