Although I'm not a true purist, I have a pretty wide range of fighting forces at my command.

Fairly big army of Ultramarines, but also, Eldar Pirates, Eldar Harlequins, a damn big Imperial Guard army w/vehicles, Orks, Tyranids, Chaos army of World Eaters, and also a Whitch Hunter army with Holy Sisters of battle with supporters. This game that I found back in the late 80's combined my great love of two fave things. Miniature painting, and tactics and strategy. How could you not love a game that's like Chess, only also the pieces can shoot laser cannons at each other??!!

But truth be told, the "Ultrasmurfs" absolutely hands down has to be my favorite Army.

I like the Ultrasmurfs because they like the Stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire, are fiercely loyal to the Emperor, they cannot be swayed. And they fight for honor, and courage. For the enemy...no forgiveness. Only death. The Chapter is based on the fearsome Greek and Roman warrior cultures, and their names speak of their ancient and brave heritage.
