Friends, And people that share a common interest with me. I still hold true to my views. Ever since SWBF2 i've always been entertained, And amused while being here. I used to be very withdrawn, and not really talkative, But these boys opened me up to a new person. They made me a stronger person, And while that sounds silly it is true.

I lost some good friends locally through their hypocrisy so I didn't have real friends to game with for a long time that is until I started gaming on the PS2 online. It was only through playing SWBF1, And SWBF2 that I learned about this brilliant clan.

I also used to get upset in SWBF1 when my team was losing. I used to say " Where the fuck is the unity in our team? Why is this guy sniping while we're losing a command post, And why is this guy flying around in a snow speeder like an idiot?" So while I had fun online I also yearned for teamwork, And someone to execute this effort with. The glitchers pissed me off in SWBF1, But not as bad since I didn't see too much of this on SWBF1.

The best fun I had with this clan was with SWBF2, And the monthly scrimmages. Those were honestly the golden days when the clan was a whole. BOSS had a knightfall event, CORP had his DSA sports, We had the emp trials that resembles today's escalation, And horde modes. Jedi was a fun little sport as well while playing on SWBF2 that it had it's own server for a long time. You could catch a group of us on Jedi back in the day at Midnight. 2006 was the peak for SWBF2 since almost everybody was on during the day no matter what time. Either it would be Rdaug, or some old school DSA.

it was so fun banning the living hell out of idiots who just couldn't respect the rules of the server or those who decided that it was fun to ruin the fun for everybody elsel.
Oh we can't forget the Class tournaments to prove who was top notch at the class in question.

I was disappointed when some members left the way they did. Some either left in a grudge manner or they just simply vanished out of the blue. What do some people join clans for sometimes? I wonder, for elitism? Because....I never joined a clan for that, But for brotherhood, I could careless about being elite, But being part of the team is for me.

Ok....I kinda miss those days when we were a whole :).

So what were our big games back then before now? SWBF2, And Socom. It's amazing how much things have grown since then. I probably have gone upon, But I think I elaborated enough why I joined.

It's the people and the type of players that gravitate toward this team based clan. That is why I joined the clan and that is why I am still in this clan.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. Well, I was playing MAG one day and Jim and Keyser were on my team. Someone kept TKing Jim and his reaction was funny as hell. All the while Keyser is trying to calm him down...lol (I laugh every time I think about that day). I was thinking "wow, I'd be nice to have this good of a time every time I play." Jim told me about the site and 5 months later I've got a bunch of new friends.

The reason I joined was for the friendship, teamwork, and comraderie with my fellow DSAers.

Well, for me the initial reason was the chance to be part of a team whose players were better than me. They seemed patient with me just learning to play (and how the online thing worked). Then I realize the maturity and commitment to organization. This is why I joined.

However, I stay involved because of the relationships. Sounds kinda sappy but daily the bonds from in game play and through the forum continue to draw me in.

I agree with the above posts. Camraderie...yeah I can play all the games I have with random people but it is that much better with a clan and in particular this clan.

I wanted to be in a clan for the teamwork and battles. To further enhance the enjoyment of the game. I was drawn to DSA because of that and because of the word "maturity" mentioned in the title of the recruitment post on the Warhawk forums.

I'm still here now for all those resons, and now above all else because of the friendships and camraderie. I know I don't realy get time to play anymore, but when I do, there's just no other bunch I want to game with. And I'm not about to put down the controller any time soon... Probably never (.... it's not possible to be too old to play games, right??! LOL)

I Joined right after I started online gaming. Swbf1 was new and on th Lucas arts site, ratix posted about the clan. I sucked but decided to give it a try. I liked the teamwork and communication. I loved the zero tolerance for cheaters and glitters.

Since then, I have found that I have no interest in playing games without clanmates. It makes my skill improvement much worse since I don't log in much time otherwise, but if you have limited time to game, might as well enjoy doing it.

                    This is why:

I came here because I saw a post by Zabka on another forum. I was beyond tired of glitchers, cheaters, sploiters, and teamkilers. I wanted to find a place that had that maturity, and focus on team, as I had back when I was in the Military.

The DSA is better than the rest online, like these idiots...(VERY funny shit. The chopper scene is my absolute fave!!). CHOCOLATE PUDDING !!!!:

Like Eagle once told me, the DSA is indeed a "family". Every single person here is a Knight. We are better because we hold ourselves to a better ideal. Good sportsmanship isn't just a word here, it's a rule. And that rule has made us honored by the online gaming community. As I said before, just read the comments on the Game battles site, by the opponents of our Warhawk division.
They didn't win every battle. But what they got was better. They totally earned the respect of their enemies. Every single comment was respectful, and brings them all great honor. :D

And I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If you're happy to be here, and if you love all the folks here to death like I do, and the great games we all have together......

                    Thank Ratix.

                    I MEAN it. Thank him.

It was his vision to build this Clan, and his ideals that founded it. There were many times that he himself pocketed the entire cost, to keep this website up.

The DSA is a Class Act. And the people here in my not so humble opinion ARE the best of the best. Period, hands down. I honor you all, because you all honor us as a whole. You fight the good fight, with class, teamwork, and love of your friends.

If you're a gamer, nobody, and I mean nobody, could ever ask; to be in the company of such great people anywhere.

God bless you, and I salute you all, for your hard work, loyalty, and dedication to us all. You don't have to be here. You came here to find something better than the rest out there. And guess what ? you did. And I thank you for it !.

All hail RaTix; ALL hail the DSA !!!

I can say in complete honesty, that I'm honored beyond belief, to have had the chance to get to know everyone here. You ARE the best !

Be proud of yourself. You didn't just "get" your rank and friendships here, you earned it. The hard way. The DSA isn't a group of "all stars". The DSA is an ALL STAR Clan.

                    God bless you all.

                    Des.

Well about 3 years ago me and Deslock worked togeather at Wal mart. Well we always talked about games and shit. one day we where talking about how I finnally had the internet. Yes untill 3 years ago I was in the fucking dark ages lol..... anyway then I was saying how I was going to put my 360 and PS2 online well he told me about the DSA and how they all played. I was intrested so i came on the site. At first I let some guy who will remain nameless piss me off so I quit playing Socom CA and went to wolrd of warcraft. Then a few months later (after relizing i was coverd in cheeto dust and had not showerd in a month) I got back into Socom CA started playing COD4 with everyone and I have been hooked since.

It is an honor to be a member of the DSA..... THANK YOU RATIX for this wonderfull site. where I have met the best of the best in all catagories.

Btw. I have even been saving for a new 360 so I can get back on with everyone on that platform.

Well up until a few years ago I never wanted to join a clan. I just didn't think it was for me. I would love to just play Socom 2 with some friends at home. I then started noticing how my friends didn't like video games as much as I did and they eventually stopped playing as much (except for rageprophet). Once I got on Warhawk I still didn't want to join a clan but I really enjoyed it when my team was using a lot of team work. I saw a post on the Gfaqs forums about DSA and how they were having a clan tryout server up and so I broke down and decided that I would try to join a clan. Been lovin it ever since.

When I joined in April 2005 I already knew what to expect since my roommate(Juggalo) was already a member. I got the benefit of seeing how practice worked and level of strategy and teamwork that on and decided to tryout. Everything I say here is a reference to BF1, the only good BF imo, because thats the only game Ive played as a clan. What I loved, and still love only no battalions in games I play, was being able to go to the shoutbox and say I need help and shortly I had 3 or 4 DSA reinforcements. To play with a team who didnt need instruction because everyone had trained and practiced together and were a well oiled machine. Even though I went inactive after BF2 came out, partially because I couldnt stand the game and second I didnt have a computer, I still considered myself DSA. You guys are like family, even those of you I have yet to play with and I know with all the shooters coming out I should be able to find a battalion for a game I like. I think besides the friends Ive made the 1 thing I love more then anything is being feared. Its hard to describe it for those who werent here when we were all on one game and one game only. If there were 3 DSA on a team the chances of that team winning were extremely high. There were other clans, even a few semi respectable ones(though not many), but DSA stood out and still does. Most of the time if I see a whole clan playing together on Gears they are glitching, bridging or lag switching. Thats why even though we are spread out over 2 systems and 4 or 5 games DSA is still a respected name, oif not as powerful as we use to be. Thats why I hope so bad for BF3 because that is the 1 game that could bring back that power. Once we have a game popular enough to have a battalion on both counsels, thats when the true power and strength of the DSA will show. I just say BF3 because thats the obvious choice but if there were a game with battalions on both systems then with both divisions practicing and sharing strategies it would be amazing.

I know I talked a lot about the past but thats just because I was gone for so long and dont know many of you. But that will soon change and no matter what game it is we are playing people will remember that they played, and most likely lost to DSA.

                            Let's see...

I was already in a clan (NRA) by the time DSA was born, but our clan didn't really communicate and it was becoming annoying since SWBF was a game about teamwork. Eventually I jumped into a DSA.com server and saw what DSA is about. I was sold when I saw how organized the site was and so I signed up for a tryout. Only had good times since then and I made some great online friends after joining DSA. We outlived so many other clans because of our dedication and I hope to see DSA around for a very long time.

Thanks to Ratix for making such a great clan.

I remember Brocman joining! I forgot it was over the Warhawk FAQ!

I got brought in by DH. I was rolling by in a tank on warhawk shooting down crap across the map and we had a good conversation. Never was interested in a clan, but stopping into the site and checking it out, everyone seemed cool. The more DSA I met, the more I liked them and requested a tryout. The rest is history.

I have a shitload of friends locally, but hardly any who share my passion for teamwork, or my love for gaming. All you guys have been a tremendous godsend to me personally. Even if I never had access to a game again, I'd remain in the clan, because I do think of you guys as my friends.

My enjoyment of gaming is now directly proportional to the amount of DSA currently online.
