"Microsoft has informed Joystiq that the $99 price will not change for the Xbox Live Family Plan, also launching this November. So that's suddenly a better deal."

The gold card is cheaper in Mexico by what Kamui listed (599 pesos) which is about 46 dollars if the value of the dollar is like 13 pesos which it has been at for a while.

This is not a big deal. I mean with Last.FM that costs $3 a month so we get it for free with Live AND with Natal coming out they need to pay for the upgrades they are making to the Live system to handle video and voice over Live plus I am sure this is where they hope to recoup some Natal investment and all the money they have paid to replace busted 360s. Also there is talk of getting Hulu in the future. Zab has a good point. This is the cheapest form of entertainment a year.

Everyting in gaming online will get more expensive in small ways. Lots of nickel and diming will occur as companies try to transition from packaged goods to online. As a result you will also see fewer games as they try to maximize their investments into bigger games that are sustainable instead of just putting out a lot of games. More tent pole games with cheap games coming on the social gaming side.

Absolutely..100% agreement!!! I am still amazed at the fact that we can still play on the PSN for free!! The day is coming...it is coming!!

Well when I've gone back and thought of how much I have spent on DLC gaming is getting really expensive. Fallout 3, $50 worth of DLC. Borderlands $30, Dragon Age like $50. Its getting ridiculous.
