    @Keyser: I noticed you like weapons with slower rate of fire. That's probably one of the features I couldn't stand about the G3A3 as opposed to the quick bursts the KH2002 has. I might have to try it out again though. One of the reasons I really liked the FAMAS (before they nerfed it) was it's faster rate of fire and being able to drop people so quickly and is why the F2000 is my gun of choice right now.

      The rex is an absolute monster. I like to call it the judge.

        The AUG is my comfort weapon to use in most combat situations. I use the G36C on my engineer loadout. Thinking about switching the G3 out though since I'm not very comfortable with that weapon. I need something that doesn't give me too much recoil in a distance battle(not too far not too close).

          The scar l has a slower rate of fire but is very stable at long range.

            @Boss

            Yep. I like the heavy hitters. It's probably because I enjoy shooting real guns a lot, but I like big mean accurate bullets, and don't have a lot of respect for smaller high fire rate firearms. The M5K I think it is in the game is utter garbage on the range, against either stationary OR moving targets.

            Gaming tends to nullify some of the realism of how much better semiauto is than fully auto, but IRL, I can't think of a single time/reason I'd ever want a full auto weapon. Ever. I don't even load more than 20 rounds at a time in my AK mags... You can get bumpfire stocks for AKs and ARs all day, but it's dumb. I like hitting things.

            I really like that BF3 starts to address this, though. The G3A3 in BF3 behaves so much like an HK91 in RL that it really is amazing to me. The speed of target acquisition, recoil, etc. I can operate a G3A3 like I can a real life HK91 at the range against moving targets in semiauto. In Hardcore, where the damage sould be even higher, it would probably be even more enjoyable.

            In the game, I use the G3 almost exclusively in semi, and fire really short bursts with it when it IS in auto. It's just not necessary to ever use auto with it. As far as the M60, its ability to throw out 5 seconds worth of shells when on a bipod before starting to deviate AT ALL is ridiculously cruel at 2-300 yards, but it sucks when standing unless you are a) in under 10 yd range or b) popping short short bursts (1-3 rounds).

            You can walk into a gunfight with a G3 in a tight room on BF3, shuffle dance with them popping them in semiauto, and after they fire their weapon empty, you still have 12 rounds left. It's a no brainer who's winning that one, and then you'll still have enough rounds to walk to a window and kill 2 more guys at 150 yards without bothering to change mags.
