Well, after a very long hunt, I was finally able to get one of my grail items. Something that I've wanted for this for years, but the price was always just too damned high. If I found a cheap one, it was always busted up, missing pieces, or the electronics didn't work. Usually all three.Or if it's in good condition, they want $400 or more, plus shipping on top of that. But tonight I was searching Ebay and saw one that I thought might work. The seller wanted $150 plus $23 for shipping. I sent him an offer for $100, as I told him it would probably set me back another $100 to replace the few missing parts, figuring what the Hell, it can't hurt to ask, all he could say back is "No thanks". I did explain to him that this item would be for use in this Toy Theater, that I wasn't just another cheap ass trying to low ball him. I hate low ballers myself.
He quickly sent me a message accepting my offer !!. It should be here early next week. So very soon the DSA will have their very own AT-AT !!. :D
I specifically wanted the 2010 version because the cockpit holds three figures, two drivers and a commander. And this version also has a complete detailed interior. Whereas the older versions only hold two drivers, and a hollow interior. I don't know exactly just how many pieces are missing, but it looks to be in good condition overall, and for the price, I'm quite happy with the decision. He knocked $50 off the price, and Daz had a $15 dollar off Ebay coupon, so for $108 bucks, I can't really complain. It should be a great deal !. He said it's missing the chin and cheek guns, a small strut that attaches to one of the legs, and the interior cockpit display glass. And if that's all that's missing, those items should be easy to replace. Not cheap, but easy to repair.
I'll give a more updated post once it gets here. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys that's all that's missing !.
But YAY !!! I got us an AT-AT !!! :D
