Thank you sir, I appreciate it. It's time consuming and expensive, but it's a labor of love. I spoke with another graphic artist and DSA site member (Neko) here that lives here in my town, and he was very enthusiastic and excited to come over and help me with this project.

For the last couple of weeks, I've been given few hours at work, and that's bitten hard into my budget (last week I only got 10 hrs. ). So I'm going to look up what it takes to set up a Paypal account. I REALLY want to get this up and going.

I would also like to thank RaTix once again for boosting the MB rate so I can upload the piccy's here instead of my Photobucket. That will help out alot.

I can't wait for you guys to see all the new sets I've built. I even have the big ass crane from the Grand Bazaar map that I always seem to hit with my jet no matter how much I try to avoid it. Heh !

      UPDATE :

      I've gotten some great new figures and props thanks to my dear wife, and a much larger table to put everything on. I would've liked to have more done by this point, but since my home doesn't have an active heating system, we only have two somewhat warm rooms in this big ass house due to spaceheaters. So in other words;

It's just been too damn cold to want to work on anything. Brrrrr. Right now the average temp in my house is about 40 degrees.
Really fun getting out of the shower. There will be times when I have to get off my computer, because it's soo cold my hands actually begin to hurt from the cold.

But here in the next few days it's supposed to get up into the 60's, so I'm going to try and get some more done, and get some more piccy's finished and uploaded. :D And also it's probably going to take me a bit to learn the new graphics proggy. But I haven't forgotten about this project, it's very, very important to me to do this.

Thank you all and God bless !

Take your time. You can't rush perfection right. But look on the bright side if its cold that means you computer(if its old) or PS3 won't over heat.

Thank you for your kind offer and PM Stryker, I really appreciate it.

My home does have a heating system, but it's old. I mean really old.
And while my home is large, it was built back in the 30's. That means no weather protection at all. AT ALL. We freeze in the winter, and fry in the summer. Old school style.

When we first moved in here, we did use the ancient natural gas system installed.
We ran it for just two weeks and then got a $300.00 gas bill, so we quickly decided to have it turned off. Right now I've been looking to see if there are any government programs to help us out in getting a "new" heat pump system installed. The house does help a little, so if it's 30 degrees outside, it's usually 10 degrees warmer inside. But 40 degrees isn't exactly "toasty" warm, which is why I have this project kinda on hold for now, but I'm still getting more figures and props for it, while I wait for it to warm up for now.

Please understand that I'm not complaining, but just rather giving an explanation to why I don't have more done at this time; in regards to this project right now. For me, it's just too damn cold. If I tried to put down grass powder on the sets, the glue would literally freeze, instead of drying.

            I HATE WINTER.

But hopefully, it will warm up soon. :D And I thank God for whomever invented the space heater. :)

I will look into setting up a Paypal account, but I really wasn't trying to ask for cash, nor mooch off of anyone, especially anyone here, as this whole thing was my idea alone. I want it to be my gift to you all. I love all you guys. As long as I can, I want to pay for it all myself. It will be my gift to you all. You all deserve it for being such great friends and Clanbrothers. I'm soo proud of you all. :D And proud to be here amongst you all. It's truly been a gift from God to have the chance to know such respectful and truly amazing people. :D Thank you again RaTix.

Take care, God bless you all, and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It may take some time, but it will be amazing. I can only thank you all for being patient.

                      Rage,

It's finally warmed up a bit and I decided to get the ball rollling on this project.

I know you recommended the GIMP proggy, and I've tried to download it several times. But every time I do, I get a message saying that the files are corrupted, and to download a newer version of the program. But even when I do that, I get more messages saying that there is a scripting error in the program. I've tried like 4 times now off these different mirror sites. I wish you could just download the damn thing from the GIMP website, but all they offer is mirror links.
One time I tried to install it, it locked my 'puter up, and I had to go into task manager and shut it down manually. Once again. "Scripting Error".

This proggy does have really good reviews about it, but I can't find a stable version of it anywhere. It's really time consuming and maddening. I guess I'll have to take a trip to Staples and check out some other lower cost alternatives to Adobe.

Be sure you're downloading the program from their official site directly. Otherwise that type of problem tends to happen. If you still have troubles you can always try a trial version of Adobe products. Your call and I want to see this DSA theater open soon dammit lol.

Be sure you're downloading the program from their official site directly.
But that's what I was saying Boss, you can't from their "official" site. All they offer is "To download our program, check out all our mirror sites".
And those wonderful mirror sites that has the GIMP program, but with added proggies that will add unwanted new toolbars, and one even said it would nicely change your homepage settings, for your convience. And that just worries the Hell out of me. After that wonderful "Blaster worm" debacle, it damn near took me two weeks worth of time going thru my registry removing all the malicious code, line by line. There are a lot of "Mirror" sites that I do NOT trust.

That wonderful Blaster worm imbedded itself in your registry. So you couldn't just auto delete it with any virus protection programs that you have, because they couldn't delete it without erasing or resetting your registry, which would nuke your 'puter. We got that 'lil jewel through my wife unknowingly downloading a "free" Farmville app prompt that popped up on Facebook, and she doesn't know enough about computers to know better to download crap from unknown and untrustworthy websites.

And I'm not lying that it damn near took me two weeks of nightime going through every damn line code in our entire registry line by literal line, to remove it so it couldn't auto replicate itself. Yes, they had it coded very precisely that if you didn't get it all, it would auto install itself again. That was NOT a fun job.

And not one I want to do over. As you guys know, playing around in your registry without knowing what you're doing is very dangerous, especially when you're force removing code. It can literally brick your PC if you don't know how to read it right. Me and "REGEDIT" became very good friends. All over what seemed to be a simple nice "safe" Farmville App download.

I have all these great sets built, and all these truly wonderful props and toys ready to go full blast for this project. All I wanted to find was a proggy that wasn't $600.00 to do it with, and I will find it.

I really want to do this, and get this going. And I will. One way or another.

                          I will.

                          You all deserve this.

That's surprising since I remember awhile back I downloaded GIMP 2.6 directly from the site with no troubles. I even just looked at their site to see if I can give you the link but I guess they changed that. Sucks to hear about what you had to deal with. Hope you get the program to work or find an alternative.

So far I've tried to download GIMP eight times, at eight different mirror sites, and it's failed for me every damn time.
I went to Staples today to see what proggies they have, but I see now that is waaaay out of my price range.

My Gawd, the newest version of Photoshop is damn near $2000.00.
The cheapest I could find is $150.00 that would do what I wanted it to do for this project. Damn.

So I guess I'm off to freebie land on the net to see if I can find something that will work.

For the life of me I cannot understand why the "official" GIMP site would change and only offer "mirror" sites for their program that do NOT work.
