Got RaTix's pimp ride done, and I'm beyond pleased. Looks like it just came out of the box in 1984 !!. I'll have some more pics up in a day or two, Daz is on vacation this week, which will really help me.

As I said before, I really cannot complain. For a shuttle that's 34 years old, it's in fantastic condition. And has all the parts !. RaTix just had to have an official pimp ride to truck around in. It's considered a "Grail" item for most collecters, as well as an AT-AT, and now I have both !. Next I want to get a vintage land speeder, and a Bruder ambulance. I got sniped out of an ambulance the other day in just a few seconds, and boy was I pissed!. But I just have to remember my mantra to be patient. By the time I saw the buy it now price, hollered "Holy shit" and hit the buy button, it sold in that very second !. Yeah, I was beyond pissed off !!!. But that's life, ya win some, ya lose some !. Overall, I've been very very lucky. I love you guys, and Daz and myself hope to game with ya'll soon !.

Got the main fin finished and retrobrighted, came out as good as new !!. Got the left wing retrobrighted, might need another day in the solution. Right wing only needs the top done. Cleaned up the canopy, and polished the cockpit glass last night with toothpaste to shine it up and remove some minor blemishes. I'm beyond thrilled with this shuttle. I got both the AT-AT and the shuttle for $100 each, most people pay much more than that for just one of them !, so I do consider myself blessed, so I gotta thank God for that. The AT-AT did take another $60 in parts, but the seller knocked $50 off his original price for me when I told him I was going to use it for the toy theater for us. I have another piece also, but that's a surprise !.

I got RaTix's pimp ride the other day. It was 100% complete with some minor damage to the left body guns. I've been working on removing some slight yellowing, will try to retrobright it during the next few days. It was missing some of the interior decals, but fixed thanks to Toy Polloi !. Needed a pretty good cleaning though, and some body work to the main stabilizer fin. But I got it for an absolute fantastic price, so I sure as Hell can't complain. I should have it completed within the next two days. Can't retro bright it today because it's raining.

If you have any vintage vehicles, I cannot recommend Toy Polloi enough. Dude is nice enough to supply some replacement decals for free on his website, some others for a very slight fee. Now if this other dude would finally ship out my liquor bottles for the DSA lounge, that's all I'm waiting on to finish the damned thing.

Okay, *Whew* I've been a busy boy lately. I've installed the cheek guns with the missiles, and finally got the chin guns yesterday. All I have left is the two interior control consoles, the ladder, the bottom hatch, and the rear speeder bike ramp !!. But at least the exterior is down. Working on the loading platform for the AT-AT. RaTix's Pimp ride should be here by this weekend. And another great surprise also !.

As a treat for you guys, here's the new installment of I.M.P.S. :

I can keep an eye out for ya if you want one. I could grab up a cheap one and restore it for you. Much cheaper than buying MIB. I'm working on trying to get a Pimp Shuttle for you to ride around in right now. I'm going to try and get some more pictures posted in the next few days, if my son will be kind enough to let me get some sleep besides 3-4 hours a night.

I've got the cheek guns and the missiles ordered for our AT-AT, should be here in the next few days. Chin guns are another matter. No way in Hell I'm paying $50 for replacements. I'll make my own before paying that.

Well, last night I noticed our Wal-Mart had the old "Forcelink" sets for the action figures marked down from $25, to $5. I took a look at it and figured the speaker had to be close. So I bought one and took it apart. I cut the speaker out of it and lengthened the wires to it with some extra wire I had. Soldered it all together. and there were two small nubs I had to trim off the sides of the speaker. It was a perfect fit !. And the bonus was by replacing the 8yr. old speaker with a new one I'd say it's actually about 20% louder. Now to get the guns ordered. Without any guns, it's like Grandpa without his dentures !.

Got our AT-AT today. Seller didn't tell me the neck pinion was knocked out of place, and I had to take it completely apart to repair the neck so it would move like it's supposed to. But in doing so, the wires ripped off of the speaker, so now I have to fix that. It's missing the chin guns, cheek guns, interior pylon consoles, the speeder bike, and the speeder bike ramp. Everything else isn't too bad, but replacing the guns I'm looking at or about $80 combined. But, as I said, he did knock $50 bucks off the price. So there's that I guess.

Many more to come in the next days. Thanks for your patience, I hope y'all like them as much as I've enjoyed making all these sets over these years. I just figured "Fuck it". I'm going to post them. Not as perfect as I would like, but such is life. Enjoy !! :D

Thanks Des, I will see about replacing the guns, The vehicle is in good condition, Just some degenerates messes up the chin turrets, lol.

Would like to repair my atst at some point too, Need a bigger place and a display case for the figures.

Is Shadows of the Empire canon or part of the legends universe? Im glad Chewie doesn't get crushed by a moon now at least.

Well, I hope this helps. These guys have been a Godsend to me. I would rather take something old and restore it, than pay big bucks for a MIB. I'm glad I listened to my wife, she'd always tell me not to settle on a crappy AT-AT, to rather wait until I get lucky and find a good one at a reasonable price. I damned near bit the bullet and spent $275 on an AT-AT the other day, but she convinced me to wait, and I'm very glad I took her advice. But as I said before, this should help you guys. The problems you guys have are very easy fixes.:

Replacement chin guns you can find at Ebay, or reproparts.net

You can get the replacement stickers for free at Toypolloi.com . he has a bunch of awesome free decals for free printing at his site.

I also have Rendar's ship (which I bought from Solo) and a bunch of other ships as well. I don't know if they have ever really addressed the canon aspect of Shadows. The Outrider did appear in the special edition versions of the original trilogy
