Not going to lie I like this. I loved Little Miss Sunshine and I felt Toy Story 3 really tied up a film that for my age range was a classic to us. Now we just have to see what he does with it. Will we get big name stars or will they do what Lucas always did and maybe cast less known outsiders. Really I think the big thing is who will direct this? Favreau likes the idea. Abrams has semi said no. Unfortunately, Whedon will be working on Avengers 2 at the time, though if I was him I say drop that shit and take Star Wars because if you have seen Firefly I trust him to make good decisions and he would do well with the story.
I know we will be talking about this for the next few years but wanted to at least get a thread started on it. Any suggestions from you guys on who you want to direct it? Keyser feel free to write a lengthy response ;)
