This is really good stuff. The very concept is awesome. I do find it interesting that all the guys are overweight--something about Madison WI that drives people to hit late 20s and put it on?

By the way, Ratix---if Deslock were really Chad Vader, wouldn't Chad Vader be in that S&M, leather banana hammock outfit that Deslock posted a while back? I still get nightmares about that one! :(

Oh Deslock :? ...after a fine thread involving Chad Vader and some disturbing bondage pics, you throw in a link lioninzing the two most poorly executed concepts of the entire movie series: Padme and Anakin's relationship and Anakin's transition to Vader. This clip is reminder of the wasted potential of these movies. Other things were mostly well executed--the clone wars, the rise of the Empire, the ascension of Palpatine. But Lucas really screwed up in creating a relationship that never had any real development and some of the worst dialogue in the history of movies then doing a thoroughly unconvincing job of Anakin's sudden transformation towards the dark side. And this video link with sappy music celebrates these two things (might as well have thrown Jar Jar in!). I was hoping for something far more disturbing---although Lucas dismantling the beauty of the mythology he created almost 30 years ago for me might actually count.

This is almost worthy of negative rep--but too much of your stuff is SOOO high quality that I can't bring myself to do it! Besides, I guess it is good to see that underneath the S&M bananahammock wearing Stormtrooper, is a softie after all who likes a weak love story! :D
