USPS Star Wars Stamps coming..

Dunno if this has been posted already, but anyway I was at the post office today and saw some nonsense about Jedi-this-Jedi-that.

I decided to hit their site and see what the deal was, and they apparently going to issue some Star Wars stamps.

I posted a little while back about this as I was surprised to go visit the postal service website and it looked more like a DSA page than a Postal Service page.

One thing that I forgot to mention, and didn't get a chance to take a pic of, was I ran across a post box disguised as R2D2, or maybe it was the other way around . The guy in the marketing department is patting himself on the back right now, "Good thing I noticed the similar shapes."

I just find it interesting to see just how far both the SW franchise will take their merchandising, as well as how far government agencies will go to attract customers.

A couple of years ago when I went to visit my bro in Montana, I was astounded to see that the Montana State Lottery had produced Star Wars scratch-offs.
