A must-have for your console whether PS2/3 or Xbox 360

    MadCatz "PS3" Wireless Thumbpad

Ignore the PS3-only marketing and lack of mention of Xbox 360.

The reason they only claim PS3 compatibility is because of the clips that are included in order to clip it to a controller. It's about the size of a pack of smokes, just slightly smaller -- who wants to clip this to their controller anyway?

Since it's USB, it'll work on anywhere you can use a USB keyboard, including your PC -- although you might find the lack of ESC, CTRL, ALT, etc. keys to be an inconvenience for daily PC use, although you'll look damn k3wl when you reply to your IMs and it looks like you're textin'.. cuz u kno, "bitches like textin'!!"

I picked one up today because I absolutely loathe trying to type anything using the controller and the OSK, and this works perfectly on my 360.

Thanks, I hope you find the keyboard to be as useful as I do. =)

I know there was a teeny tiny wired USB keyboard, but it was really awkward to type on. This one has larger buttons in addition to being wireless.

      Wireless ftw! lol

The 360 will have one made specially for it out soon...which plugs into the headset jack and has a separate headset jack.

But short of that, this makes a lot of sense. how much is it?

Yeah, Ratix showed me the keypad that will be coming out for the 360 and it looks pretty neat, however, it leads me to wonder whether or not it might adversely affect how one grips the controller. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Is that keypad compatible with the PS2?

If you have a PS3/X-box 360, you need "Oblivion".

                Nuff said.

Many people really like Oblivion. RPGs just don't interest me. I can barely play a season in sports games where you manage a team, and that is actually playing games...so building up characters is even less interesting to me. I never liked D&D for the same reasons.
