Asked to Leave?

Hello all... long time no 'see'.

I temporarily moved away from California for about 10 months and I didn't have any high speed internet. Anyway, I'm now back in LA.

I was just playing on the 'Dark Side' server (Conquest, no AI) and saw in the Admin text that thay had 'thought about it long and hard' and was asked to leave the server and not ever come back.

I'm not really sure why... and my headset was broken on the way back to California so I couldn't really ask.

I used to be quite a regular on this server and was usually ranked in the top 20... back in the RZ 067 days. I've always been a respectful player & I'm certainly not a tank whore or griefer. Dark Helmet, Crimson Disciple & Regent can attest to that (assuming they are still around/remember me). RDaug, I played with you quite a bit in the past too. If it's your server, I guess that you don't remember me.

Anyway, sorry for whatever I did in the three days that I've been back... but I really don't think that I did anything.

Whoever did this should speak up now.I mean it,noone should abuse there admin privileges.Even the higher ranks would say this.

what were the circumstances behind such an admin message? It seems like an odd message for somebody to have written and a bit out of character for anybody. Did something happen for such a message to be prompted? especially since you weren't even on the mic. It is possible that the admin might have set certain rules over the mic that you didn't hear. Although, typically, such restrictions are listed in the admin messages.

Who were the DSA in the room at the time?

As far as I know, there were no circumstances. I was just playing as I normally do.

RDaug was about... another DSA as well, but they were a latecomer. I think the other person was a fairly new member... at least I don't remember the name from 10 months ago. Heh.

My headset was broken in my move.

The message(s) were typed into the dedicated server control panel and appeared on screen from 'Admin:'. I was addressed by name.

I wasn't actually booted, no... but I'm not really one to stay somewhere when it's clear I'm not wanted around.

It happened today, 5/21.

Not really sure of the time... but if I had to guess it was somewhere between 3-5pm, PST.

It's really not a big deal, RaTix. The last thing I wanted to do was cause drama. I just wanted to know what I did. Sorry for the trouble.

Please accept my apologies on behalf of the entire DSA. After reviewing the server logs, I have found some DSA to not be conducting themselves in accordance with the Code of Conduct (COC). I want to assure you and the rest of the public, that things of this nature are not common place to the DSA's way of life. No DSA should be using the admin message system in such a way. Rest assured that those involved will be dealt with.

Enjoy our servers and please report any problems you encounter, public or otherwise.

Long time no see Fenn. Yes, I do remember you. We used to play a lot together in Conquest and you were a pain to kill as was RZ. He used the Dark Trooper to get a lot of kills. Anyway, welcome back.
