Buffalo native, was the number 1 pick, if only we could have picked him up, that would have been rediculous, Kane seems like one of those players who can go straight to the NHL

Oh yeah and I just have to say this, that Todd Marchant who is a regular forward for the Ducks, graduated from a local high school round here, so the cup will be here for one day sometime during the summer.

I don't know about Pat Kane, his size is scary small. Just goes to show you how weak this draft was. I like James vanRiemsdyk to have a better NHL career, Philly will be better than Chicago a lot faster. Plus his size and skill reminds me of another Getzlaf in the making.

I liked what the Canucks did, I'm glad they didn't trade up. We were packaging top goalie prospect Cory Schneider, and that would have pissed me off. We loaded up on a lot of forwards, something our system needs.

From the I feel old dept. Dave Gagne and Geoff Courtnall (former Canuck top winger) had their son's drafted this weekend. I watched both those players when I was younger, I'm officially getting older 8O

I can't wait to see how free agency goes.....Good Luck Christ. Oh and the new/old capitals jersey was sick. If we can just get the sabres to rock the blue vintage sweaters everygame....

Anyway, the Pens got a steal with Esposito at the 20th pick. Angelo will have a nice long-term impact,

Ive had the pleasure of seeing the cup, but would never touch it.. no im not superstitious.. but i still play.. it has to be earned to touch it to me...
