i had the same problem just yesterday
you may have top wait a day, but delete old patch and download new, but be careful. The program to run the patch is finicky

delete the PATCH
not your PROFILE
then, connect to the network
you will be asked to download the new patch
download
restart your console
BAM
your online again
no, you dont have to start over fresh.

thats the thing u cant ownload a new patch it wont let u something is wrong with the system. an i even eleted every thing i had and started ovr... no luckso ont try it.
