    NFL Picks week 4

After cashing in my first parlay win for the year, you realize with that $20 you bet, it turned into $140. For the year you now are up $100 the entire year so far. But it gets better because there are 14 more weeks to earn money with. Its my job to get you more money. The casinos want to give it to us, we will take it.

So as I turn to week 4, I realize this may be the hardest week I have ever faced to make three picks. With the bye weeks we are already strapped for guaranteed winners. But what really gets me is all the rivalry games this week. Because ther is an extra incentive when two rival teams play each other. Usually the home team has that advantage. But the point spread are so big on most games its very difficult to take those home teams because the other team will still play them tough.

At Carolina -7 Atlanta PICK: Panthers
So we turn to the team everyone picked last week. Carolina. Very good team, against a team that hasn't seen any real competition yet Atlanta. Carolina's defense only needs to shut down Michael turner. their offense is ready to rip Atlanta this week. I expect a two TD win.

9/28 1:00 ET At Cincinnati -3.5 Cleveland PICK: Bengals
Another rival game. Bengals looked pretty good last week, but that's the only reason I'm taking them. Looking and comparing injury reports it seems Cleveland will be missing some key guys on defense and the offensive line. They are in trouble this year and so is the QB derrick Anderson. This will be a close game but Bengals will pull it out.

9/28 4:15 ET At Dallas -11 Washington PICK: Cowboys

I know what you are thinking. That's a hellava lot of points. I feel the same but came to this conclusion. Cowboys beat the Packers at Lambeau Field by 11, they should be able to beat the skins by 11 at home. I will be honest that I don't like the rivalry game concept, but i think the Skins are not that good of a team. Jason Campbell will get the rude awakening this weekend.

    Other good picks:

(There are no other picks because of the toughness of the week. Stay tuned for week 5)

Good picks Gino. I hope your streak continues to break the bank. Btw, what do you think of Denver this year. Personally i'm surpirsed. I didnt think Shanahan would get this team up and running as well as he did. I thought that it would be another season at least before they gave their division a real run. As you can see i was wrong.

FYI, Gino please be sure to post in the Cantina and not "NotRob's Corner" section of the Cantina. I had to move all of your previous posts of picks from that forum to this one. PM me if something is acting funky or unclear.

        Sorry about that RaTix.

Denver is a good team but I don't think they are a power house. They will be a playoff team but not a AFC Championship team till they get a defense. I really don't like them against KC. This is a big rival game and KC may pull the upset here.

On the Panther Pick.. I would pick Atlanta. They have playing great ball and are looking strong this season..

On the other hand. Even If they are supposed to be pick the worse team this year I would pick the browns over the Bengals.. Don't ask me why, I just have a gut feeling they will win.

Atlanta has been successful against really shitty teams. They play tampa and they got destroyed.

Looks like this week won't be successful. Palmer is out this week. :( And I have him in all my FF leagues

Great pick on the Panthers, maybe Christ was right about the Atlanta pick on them having a lucky season... well, it looks like my gut feeling was true after all. Both Cleveland and Cincinnati were both 0-4 but the browns pulled it out.

Great game, And the JETS retro jerseys are freaking sweet, Rough game by both teams on injuries. AND WHATS WITH THAT! I counted at least 7 players injured over the NFL but 3 were carried by stretcher. Man!

Especially the Arizona game when the WR got pushed around like a fat kid during kickball. He got hit so hard it looks like he fucked up his spine or his neck. I hope he is OK because that was a nasty nasty hit.

great games today though, Not over yet by far.

I felt so good about this pick last week I took them for $20. Glad I did.
