Okay, After almost a year, the PSN cards are finally out.
Only one problem though.:
The instructions on the card on how to redeem and activate them on the back of the cards are completely, and totally, WRONG.
I.E.:
THIS IS WRONG AND FALSE.
Why, you ask?. Well because of one thing. One major mistake.:
There is no "Account management" display on the network icon.
Nope. Not there.
There is no "Transaction management" icon either.
Hmmm. Wonder why they put that on the cards, when what they're telling people to do, doesn't even exist?.
How to really redeem and activate the new cards.:
Make sure you're logged on your PS3 with a current account.
Ignore the the sentence saying to go to the network icon, instead go to the icon next to it saying "playstation store".
When it loads up, go to the top right of the screen where you see three very little icons, one shows a crayon, one says credit card, and the little shopping cart. Click on the "crayon" one. enter the code on the three little oblong icons exactly as shown, and enter it. Now you've done it the right way, not the obtuse and wrong way the actual card says to redeem and activate your new card.
How in the Holy Hell did they manage to screw this up sooooo badly and wrong?.
Hope this helps clear up and confusion that these new cards may cause.

From the PLAYSTATION Network icon on the XMB, select "Account management".
