I dunno, I guess I'm lucky and should count my blessings.

My Wife bought me my last PS2, Told me it was great that I wanted a PS3, helped me get my 501st. Tie pilot Costume, and encouraged me to get my Stormtrooper suit.

My wife loves watching me play Oblivion, Rainbow Six, and especially COD4, whichs she loves to sit there and watch me pwn people, and makes sure I have plenty of smokes, and brings me beers so I don't have to get out of my surround sound gaming chair. :D

But on a bad note, she really finds it boring to watch me play flight sims, which I adore.

She doesn't want to play FPS games, as she thinks they're too hard for her. But if you see my PSN name online with "Tiger Woods '08, Ribbitking, Hot Shots Golf...etc, It's not me, it's her. So that way she won't get a PM like the other day asking her why the &*%$ she isn't in Warhawk practice confuses her, as she doesn't know how to answer...lol.

But really guys, in all truth, if you are an avid gamer like I've been since the 70's, having a lady in your life that doesn't enjoy it also is going to give you a VERY long row to hoe. Try to get her involved, or do like I did, and game with her, and/or help her find games that she'd like to play.

Either that, or make out times just to spend with her, on the condition that she let's you of the hook for when you want to game doing your thing. Try to find a even balance you can both live with. Or you're going to find yourself resenting her constant bitching/nagging every time you fire up your gaming machine.

Or, you could do like RaTix, and just pimp slap her. ;)

Its all about give and take with women. you give all you got and they want to take more...but just remember wine and turkey make people very, very sleepy.

I feel very lucky, my wife also bought me my ps2 a few years ago, when it was time to up grade I first made sure the kids had the wii , so we got that then I got the ps 3
and because it was a better deal and zero interest I got a 32 in lcd and the ps3 ( for the kids you know, it sits at one end of the family room with 2 gaming chairs , steering wheel, guitar , drums (world tour) wii fit .... and wireless head phones , so I can play while every one else watches TV.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved
body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly
used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming:
          "WOW...What a ride!"
