Highway to hell is my favorite ACDC song....everytime that song come on when I'm running I always start to sprint it. I watched the above You Tube vid and then later in the day I saw on Paladia a recent ACDC concert and man did that guy ever get it right....lol.

Regarding music today Deslock, not sure if you mean the top 40 or rock. There some pretty good rock bands today. Of course nostolgia always plays a big part of it...but you can't deny bands like ACDC, Zeplin & Who. Got all of those on my IPOD and play them regularly.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. ― Alexis de Tocqueville

AC/DC is awesome. And always will be. Like the old Japanese saying: Simplicity is elegance. Yeah, it's simple music. Power cords and drumbeats. But through their genius, they seemed to always make it "work".

I listen to everything, from Rap, Country, techno...I like it all. But there is a simplicity to AC/DC that will always make them my fave band besides to the true sublime genius that is "Pink Floyd". I do like some music today...But where is the intellectual rock now days of "Rush"?. The power of Billy Idol's "White Wedding"..? Queensryche..."Empire"...?

Hell, even Dr, Demento's "Fish heads" is better than what I hear now on the radio.

It's all rap guys singing about getting laid, doing drugs...and white guys whining and crying and being all Emo. Where is the next Twisted Sister's "We're not going to take it?" The next Judas Priest ":

Music should be something you can relate to. Just like art, music should sometimes disturb you. It should make you think.

But most of all, it should make you feel...:

Remember when MTV actually used to show videos...?

Oh yeah...but at least we have "Tool Academy"....

Just what we needed...more douchebags instead of real, honest music.
