    NEw 360 Hard Drive Xfer

OK...so I got the red ring of death a few weeks ago...just got a new 250G 360 yesterday and I was wondering if there is an easy way to xfer all the stuff from the hard drive on my old elite. I just re-downloaded the map packs for MW2, but I really don't want to try and re-download all of my old skins and demos and such. Too much damn time...I heard you can use a flash drive...but since I got the red ring of death is this even possible?

Plug a 2 or 4 GB USB thumb drive into your XBOX and save your content to it. Then, you can transfer your saved games to the new box. Also, you need to transfer your license for each of your DLC's to the new box. I don't remember where it is located but XBOX Live online website has an FAQ on how to transfer your license. You can perform this function from their webpage and the transferred data will be waiting for you the next time the XBOX is turned on.

my old xbox did the same thing. i had to get one of those things but all i had to do is pop off the old hard drive and plug it into that kit which then plugs into the new xbox. so it should be fine even with the red ring. cuz my old one had the red ring and now im on my new one with all my old shit
