Not to deepen the mystery or anything but, I didn't notice any problem in the tactics and strats forum. I did note some of the posts were edited today and some not, but in all my looking there wasn't a single image that did not load (although some took some time there was still a big empty space waiting to be filled).

I went through SWBFI/II forum and fixed a bunch of IMG tags.

Pants are you using that POS Seamonkey browser still? That might be your problem with the images, because I have no idea what your talking about. The images show up fine and I don't see any commented lines when viewing the source in IE or FF.

Actually this is in FF. SeaMokey was pissing me off. Now upon further checking it seem I get the same in IE7. Thats rather strange . I realize it's a client side error now. Any thoughts on what the problem might be.

Just in case you are wondering, my thread display options are set correctly. Under visable post elements the box is checked that says "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)"

I'm running McAfee. It has some browsing security features but most of the annoying ones I've disabled. Now as for what option would enable it to parse out only some bbCode tags and not others of the same type (under the same domain for that matter) is not one I have run across or would think existed.

Before you go too far I need to admit to you that I have a knack for finding very unique problems that no one else has. "Unlucky at the internet, lucky in bed" isn't that the cliche? I can only hope

Try turning off your adblocking options and see if the images load correctly. It is quite possible that that your adblocker doesn't like the "banner" component of the image URLs.

e.g. /images/bannercontest/01.png

That was exactly it TK, thanks. That is a rather stupid way of "blocking ads" as the feature claims. I never noticed it was on (I got plenty of ads) until it blocked images I wanted to see. Go figure.

I think the Forum Search is still messing up. I tried to look up Code of Conduct and got the "The search term you specified (of) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer." response. I do like the arcade things under the Avatar though :D

This is typical. Words like "the", "of", "a", etc. are common and usually omitted from searches. Here on the site these are weeded out by word length rather than an actual match to a specific word (such as google does).

Hi im UltimateZed i play Tribal wars and i just joined Dark Side..
When in the home page if i click on the roster or barracks in Tribal Wars it says i need to activate my account or the admin has disabled it or something. I already activated my forum ID please help.

I think the Rosters is a new feature that the guys are currently working on. To be honest this is the first time I have noticed them on the site.(and I am getting the same error message) I know we are constantly changing and upgrading the site with new information, and trying to get it to where that information is easily accessed. I'm sure it will be fixed when they have all the rosters updated.

Oh and be sure and post in the Cantina under Introduce Yourself so we can get to know you.

Please go to your User-CP (link at top of page) and scroll down on the left you will see, under Miscellaneous, Group Memberships. Please apply for membership to the TW Group.

There is a post about this but it is in a forum you can't see till you are a member of the TW user group. Catch 22 I guess
