Thank you for your kind offer and PM Stryker, I really appreciate it.

My home does have a heating system, but it's old. I mean really old.
And while my home is large, it was built back in the 30's. That means no weather protection at all. AT ALL. We freeze in the winter, and fry in the summer. Old school style.

When we first moved in here, we did use the ancient natural gas system installed.
We ran it for just two weeks and then got a $300.00 gas bill, so we quickly decided to have it turned off. Right now I've been looking to see if there are any government programs to help us out in getting a "new" heat pump system installed. The house does help a little, so if it's 30 degrees outside, it's usually 10 degrees warmer inside. But 40 degrees isn't exactly "toasty" warm, which is why I have this project kinda on hold for now, but I'm still getting more figures and props for it, while I wait for it to warm up for now.

Please understand that I'm not complaining, but just rather giving an explanation to why I don't have more done at this time; in regards to this project right now. For me, it's just too damn cold. If I tried to put down grass powder on the sets, the glue would literally freeze, instead of drying.

    I HATE WINTER.

But hopefully, it will warm up soon. :D And I thank God for whomever invented the space heater. :)

I will look into setting up a Paypal account, but I really wasn't trying to ask for cash, nor mooch off of anyone, especially anyone here, as this whole thing was my idea alone. I want it to be my gift to you all. I love all you guys. As long as I can, I want to pay for it all myself. It will be my gift to you all. You all deserve it for being such great friends and Clanbrothers. I'm soo proud of you all. :D And proud to be here amongst you all. It's truly been a gift from God to have the chance to know such respectful and truly amazing people. :D Thank you again RaTix.

Take care, God bless you all, and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It may take some time, but it will be amazing. I can only thank you all for being patient.

ALL HAIL THE DSA !!! :D

    Des.

    P.S.:

Global warming my ass.... LOL !!

Take your time. You can't rush perfection right. But look on the bright side if its cold that means you computer(if its old) or PS3 won't over heat.

    UPDATE :

    I've gotten some great new figures and props thanks to my dear wife, and a much larger table to put everything on. I would've liked to have more done by this point, but since my home doesn't have an active heating system, we only have two somewhat warm rooms in this big ass house due to spaceheaters. So in other words;

It's just been too damn cold to want to work on anything. Brrrrr. Right now the average temp in my house is about 40 degrees.
Really fun getting out of the shower. There will be times when I have to get off my computer, because it's soo cold my hands actually begin to hurt from the cold.

But here in the next few days it's supposed to get up into the 60's, so I'm going to try and get some more done, and get some more piccy's finished and uploaded. :D And also it's probably going to take me a bit to learn the new graphics proggy. But I haven't forgotten about this project, it's very, very important to me to do this.

Thank you all and God bless !

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. It's time consuming and expensive, but it's a labor of love. I spoke with another graphic artist and DSA site member (Neko) here that lives here in my town, and he was very enthusiastic and excited to come over and help me with this project.

For the last couple of weeks, I've been given few hours at work, and that's bitten hard into my budget (last week I only got 10 hrs. ). So I'm going to look up what it takes to set up a Paypal account. I REALLY want to get this up and going.

I would also like to thank RaTix once again for boosting the MB rate so I can upload the piccy's here instead of my Photobucket. That will help out alot.

I can't wait for you guys to see all the new sets I've built. I even have the big ass crane from the Grand Bazaar map that I always seem to hit with my jet no matter how much I try to avoid it. Heh !

Just to give you all a heads up about this project, I'm still working on it.

For some bizarre reason the power elite team decided to put plastic boxes in the IFV to hold the figures in place, and I've had to cut them all out with my Dremel tool, and also cut out the backdoor that was molded together, so it can be opened for the web comic.

Now I've got that done, and I have to build a Jet/Heli landing strip set; but that shouldn't be hard at all. Should be all done very, very soon. :D

Thank you all for being patient with this. :D

Yeah man its great. We used it when I was going thru school for gaming and Simulation programming. I made a game using it as the main editor. I don't have much to complain about it and it's FREE.

    Enjoy.

Rage, I looked up the info on Gimp, and you weren't fibbing. That is a totally awesome proggy !!!! I can't believe it's free !!

Getting a good graphics proggy has been the main thing holding me back, and it looks like this proggy is just the ticket I needed; because you cannot do blur or special effests with crappy MS paint. I can't wait to learn how to use it.

Still waiting for an address and what item is needed Des.....
Thank you for your kind offer Eagle, but as I posted above, these figures and vehicles that I'm using are on Amazon for 3 times the actual retail cost. One set is a guy on a horse that is retail $5.00. On Amazon the same fig is $15.00. Why ?, I have no idea.

The prices on the sets and vehicles on Amazon are outrageous.

One $34.00 set I want is for sale on Amazon for $96.00. That's just too damn much money. All I really need to get is the jets now.

If you are looking for a good pic editor there are two that come to mind they are great and free. Blender and GIMP. Both are awesome and free.
I saw that when you posted it before, and I'll check them out. Thanks again !. :D

I bought the attack Heli tonight, so now I have a scout and attack Heli also.

I'll be certain to check those proggy's out, as there are effects like gunfire and explosions that I want to do, and Corel and Adobe are just out of my cost range right now. Damn those critters are expensive !!!. $800.00 at least. And I don't want to do ghetto effects with MS paint. It would work, but it would look like kindergarten crayon crap. The DSA deserves better than that.

That's why I'm waiting, as I want to do this right.
